You are not a problem to fix

problem solver

Let me guess

You solve problems all day long. You are good at solving problems. You enjoy it. Maybe you’re even paid for it.

You are creative.

You are imaginative.

You have ideas.

You like to fix things.

But there's a shadow side to your problem solving genius.

You are always seeing what's not working.

You're always looking for the flaws, the imperfections, and mistakes.

And it doesn't stop with your work.

It applies to your relationships, your body, your mind, your habits, your life.

You see yourself as a problem to fix and it's killing you.

My background as a film and television editor makes me intimately familiar with the challenges faced by creatives.

I know how the endless cycle of:

  • Striving

  • Improving

  • Fixing

leads to:

  • Burnout

  • Imposter Syndrome

  • And a Voracious Inner Critic

I'm here to tell you that you are not a problem to fix.

I invite you to see what it would be like to take that perspective right now.

Can you imagine it even for a moment?

If you can, imagine if you could live your life from that perspective.

Imagine the energy you'd have.

Imagine how much more creative you'd be if you saw yourself as a possibility instead of a limitation.

If you are overwhelmed by the

Stress & emotions caused by the endless cycle of striving,

It’s time to release it!

That tightness in your chest when frustration mounts, a lump of sadness in your throat, or the urge to run away when life feels like too much…it’s time to let it go!

When you suppress those feelings—pushing them down or telling them to go away —

—that energy doesn’t disappear.

It gets stuck in the body.

It might appear as:

  • Tight shoulders

  • Back pain

  • Insomnia

  • Digestive issues

  • A restless or ruminating mind

  • Low Self Confidence

  • Feeling Unsafe or Overwhelmed

  • Perfectionism

  • Anxiety & Panic

  • Fatigue & Burnout

  • Repeating patterns of self defeating behaviors.

I’m here to help.

I use a blend of mindfulness, stress release techniques, and somatic coaching to guide you through releasing that trapped energy, completing the stress cycle, and transforming overwhelm into resilience, growth, and ease.

How I help

Taking the perspective that you are already whole, and that your true nature is curious, compassionate, and capable, I use practices and tools to help you:

  • Build trust in yourself

  • Release emotions that contribute to chronic pain

  • Increase self compassion & resilience

  • Feel comfortable in your own skin

  • Let go of people pleasing and constant comparing

This might not seem possible yet but I have seen it happen in myself and the people I work with. I will hold hope for you until you experience it yourself.

What a session looks like?

Most sessions begin with a connection practice to help us attune to what is present. Then you may have a particular stressor or situation you would like to work with or we can explore what is arising in the moment.

From here, I listen to your words and use your cues to suggest movements or practices to be in relationship with that stressor and move it through if it's ready to release.

We end with restoration and integration to see how your relationship with the stressor has shifted.

Practices in a session may include:

  • Body Awareness

  • Sensory Awareness

  • Active Imagination

  • Journaling

  • Free Drawing

  • Conscious/Directed Movement

  • Intuitive Movement

  • Restoration/Resilience

  • Ball work/mobility

  • Sound Healing
